I have lived in Connah’s Quay since 1982, I am married to Marie, a native of the Quay and we have two grown up children, John & Julie, and a grandson Stephen.  I was a lecturer at RAF Sealand for 30 years.

I have been your County Councillor since 1999 and a Town Councillor since 1991. I also represent the County Council on the North Wales Fire & Rescue Authority.  I am a school governor at Dee Road & Wepre Schools.

I am currently Vice-Chairman of the Corporate Management scrutiny committee and an active member of Social & Health and People & Performance scrutiny committees.

During 2006/2007 I had the honour to be chosen to be Chairman of Flintshire County Council which was a very pleasant experience enjoyed by my wife Marie and I.

I am very pleased that the new Health Centre is now available for the people of Deeside and that the chemist has now moved to the new pharmacy which is in the same complex as the new Health Centre.

I am pleased to report that the plans for re-development of Ffordd Llanarth have now been passed by the County Council and work should finish soon and will be a great asset to residents of Connah’s Quay South when it opens later this year.

If anyone wants to get in touch with any queries or would like to speak to me with any aspect of the Connah's Quay community or any problems you may have then I would be delighted to hear from you and will help you as much as I can.
